1988 Musician Magazine Prince Article-An Artist At War With Himself

I thought this was one of the best articles written about LIL MAN as it relates to his music. This magazine article detailed information about the many sides of his musical persona.The title of the article was PRINCE-AN ARTIST AT WAR WITH HIMSELF. It was a nice journalistic piece on him. Do anybody remember this MUSICIAN magazine article on LIL MAN back in 1988??? The magazine photo cover of P was nice too.

I worked at Musician for two years. They had a good deal of respect for Prince, which was something rare among journalists in the 1990s.

I still have that issue! It was an excellent article on Prince,although the writer totally dismissed the 'ATWIAD' and 'Parade' albums (he referred to those albums as Prince's "artistic crash and burn").

I remember it, but I don't remember its contents.
