Sinéad O'Connor's Nothing Compares 2 U is much better than Prince's own version. Had Prince even performed this song before her version became a hit? Any version I've heard of his sounds sorta generic. She's a brilliant interpreter of songs, and this is one of her best. Anyone who thinks her career was over (artistically speaking) after I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got should check out 2000's Faith + Courage. I still think The Lion + The Cobra is her best, but this one is also very good.

I like Chaka's version of I Feel For You about as much as Prince's, and depending on my mood, I prefer Meli'sa Morgan's Do Me Baby to his. Either way, I like both versions. Oh, and Cyndi's When You Were Mine kicks.
