I found out recently it was true (see my post on Who the F@ck IS KEVIN). iT'S NOT A FUED BUT A REFERENCE TO ONE OF HIS MOVIES, SOMETHING ABOUT FILLING A CUP OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

He's never forgiven Costner for not casting him in the lead in Dances With Wolves.
Hence, the constant refrain: "It Ain't Over!"

I suppose it's the same pseudo fued that according to some Orgers he had with Mel Gibson. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

i thought it was a reference to waterworld where costner pisses in a cup and recycles it for water.

In 1990,Kevin Costner came to visit Prince backstage after one of his concerts. He told Prince "I really liked your show...it was neat".Prince laughed and whispered to a bandmember "Anyone who says my shows are "neat" has got to go".Costner was embarassed and quickly walked out, rolling his eyes.

That wasn't Prince. Rather, it was Madonna. The entire scene is in her Truth or Dare movie.

Never knew that the Kevin reference was Costner but after reading this thread i checked the release of Tin Cup starring Costner for curiosity sake. turns out it was released in Spring of 96 and Emancipation later that year in the fall. "I'll fill your cup...I won't do it like Kevin" was probably a sexual metaphor for what he can or will do to the lady in question...and to emphasize his point he's saying i don't mean in a "Golf" way like Kevin C. did in his movie.
don't know if that's right or not but the timing works at least.

oh and one more thought...wasn't the Costner quote, "your concert was neat" made to Madonna in her documentary?

Swap the word "Prince" with "Madonna" and you'll be on track.

Moderator | Shit, I thought everyone hated Kevin Costner. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
