If Prince was to cut down his touring band size to say just Rhonda, Blackwell, Renato and himself, how many of you would be very disappointed and likewise, how many would see this as an exciting prospect?

I like the band as it is... why do you guys keep trying to get rid of the horns??

Leave them as they are. They are very tight together, and they are really fun 2.

That TOTALLY depends on the kind of tour he was doing. If he was going all rock (which I'm hoping for), I'd be happy with him cutting back (although I love Candy). If he was still mixing it up with funk, ballads, rock and gospel, I'd definitely be ticked if he cut back on his excellent band.

Clubbin' in Mpls/A Night w. Prince

I'd like to see he drop to a trio for a while. Prince, Blackwell, and Rhonda. Kill the keys and horns for a while. Prince's keys can often give his music a more dated feel. Filling it with guitar would be fun for an album or two.
