Has anyone else noticed that the jacket that Prince wears during the beginning of Purple Rain, while singing Let's Go Crazy, is the same jacket design as the one Michael Jackson wore in the Thriller video?

Only differences that I could see were the colors..

I might be wrong, but I saw it that way 20 years ago, and I can still see the resemblance.....

Actually, I think I remember one of the scenes in Purple Rain (I think when he was performing Darlin Nikki or Computer Blue), only had on one glove.

Thriller jacket.. change it from red and black to purple and white..

then add the little patch of spikes to the shoulder of the jacket..

and under that, some ruffles and lace..

When MJ got it back it had Susan's lipstick and Vanity's perfume on it. And Brenda put one of her cigarettes out on it.

Then Prince took the Jackson 5ive song "Life Of The Party" from the Dancing Machine CD and in his evil dastardly mind he decided to put Candy in the new Rosie Gaines position and have her sing the hook.

Then to add insult to injury he mentions MJ by implication in the song.

And NOW he's jacked MJ's religion. All as part of his plot..... to bang LaToya.
