She obviously got to Prince since he wrote a song about it all, which of course is the biggest compliment. Not only did he write a song about the subject, it's a helluvah good one!

It IS a great song. But most artists deal with barbs from piss-ant provincial gossip columnists by ignoring them. It says a lot of about him that he couldn't let it go. I would never have done her the favor of letting her know. She probably got a real kick out of being immortalized in song and her mean-spirited country ass does not deserve any sort of tribute.
