Can't find Prince albums anywhere!~

I just need a minute or two to sound off on something that has been bugging me lately... Prince is all in the news about his "comeback," and he is always praised as such a great musical genius... so why are his albums so hard to find????? confused ~

I recently attended one of the Musicology concerts in Toronto where he played Shh! and I realized how much I loved that song and haven't listened to it in forever... so I go home, and assemble my Prince CD's, and realize I can't find The Gold Experience anywhere..~

So I call all the local CD places in my area... you know, the big name places... and it seemed that ALL of the ppl I spoke to were rude.. and on top of that, none of them had the album I was looking for, nor could they order it for me!!! GRR~ the album is not bad, and is not that old, so what's up with that?? mad ~

If anyone could direct me to a reliable place to buy old Prince albums it would be greatly appreciated (esp. as it was hard enough to have to repeat "Gold Experience" over and over to clueless music store workers and I need a new copy of "Lovesexy" and know I will have an even tougher time asking for that over the phone)... I just want to hear Shh! again!!!~

Also: how do you great fans organize your Prince CD's?? I have so many, and often have a tough time keeping track of them b/c I tend to move them from my car to house, etc..~

Thank you so much for reading this and any replies would be appreciated biggrin .... (I don't mean to offend any store workers, but the few that I spoke to were not pleasant at all!! I used to work retail, and was NEVER that rude!)~

Secondspin.com was the last place I saw 5 copies of "The Gold Experience". It's out of print now....odd, I know, considering that it's not that old shrug. Overstock.com is also good. I just found out about it thanks to my fellow Orgers wink. There's also GEMM.com, which is pretty expensive on some things and Yahoo.com. For Yahoo, just type "Prince" into the search box and then go to the word "discography" by his picture. It will give you stores, websites, and private dealers who sell Prince albums. If all that fails, Ebay is always happy for your business. Good luck.

Shh was a song he wrote for Tevin Cambell. I am unsure if he re-recored it.

TGE is especially hard to find since it's out of print, but secondspin.com had several copies a few days ago.

You do have a point, though...for example, I frequently visit secondspin.com, and several months ago they always had at least one or two copies of nearly all Prince's albums (at least up thru Rave). But these days the pickings are much slimmer...Sign o' the times, baby! nod woot! dancing jig
