baby knows appreciation thread i looove this song! prince need 2 get back to his old wierd sounding music self....cuz this is one of his wierd shits that just brightens up my day...u kno?  ...b4 i go was i the only one who thought Camillie Goes Country Rock when ya heard this song?Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...

I love "Baby Knows" also. It's cute and it's "cleverly" sexy, not openly sexy IMO. Tune is very catchy, too. | |

It's a fun, good tune...I really liked the Rave album, though it's one of those where I really like some tracks and sometimes skip certain others... Welcome the first hater! Not a big fan of "Baby Knows". It's not a bad song but it seems like Prince can come up with songs like that very easily. I guess it's an ok album track but it doesn't strike me as memorable. | |

I've always loved "Baby Knows"! I thought it was one of the most instantly-likeable songs on Rave un2...
my only complaint about it was that Sheryl's vocal was mixed down so low that you can hardly hear her. And since I like Sheryl better than Gwen Stefani, who was much more prominently featured in her duet with Prince, I was disappointed. BUT WAIT!!! The Rave IN2 version of "Baby Knows," in addition to having a little false ending tag, turns up Sheryl's vocal a LOT more. For me, that makes it the better of the two versions of the song and the one I prefer to listen to. Keith/Kacey | |

I just have to say it-I hate this song.
I really like the Rave album, but this song just irritates me. 1.) It sounds like a ripoff of Cream. 2.) The lyrics are totally cringe-worthy. This kind of poochie make you beg? The butt that goes round? It just irritates me. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
