It is such a GREAT song...from beginning 2 end!!!!! --Like "When U Were Mine" and "Lets Pretend We're Married" before it.....Prince shows how GREAT of a songwriter he can be when it comes to songcraft!!!!! I agree on both When You Were Mine and ICNTTPOYM, those are 2 of my all time favs, in the pop category at least. This is not music, this is a trip

The instrumental section of this song is transcendental. It's one of the best moments in modern music. I can't think up an accolade strong enough to express my love for this song, and especially for that sexy solah in the middle.

I absolutely love this song.....the performance in the film is classic.
It falls under my "mid-tempo rockers" category for Prince songs, which happens to contain alot of my favs: When U Were Mine The Holy River White Mansion Money Don't Matter Tonight The Morning Papers etc. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I love it. Thought I was the only one. One Saturday morning I put it on repeat and probably listened to it 100 times before my husband made me stop. [sob]
