I think that would be really cool.....I dont think I've ever SEEN Gayle Chapman....I dont have the 1980 American Bandstand on tape and I think the Partyup performance on SNL back in 1980-81 had Lisa on keys...could be wrong....nontheless...it would be great to see these musicians jam with Prince sometime.....
Every minute of last night is on my face today....

Check out the early videos for Why you wanna treat me so bad and the band version of I wanna be your lover to see Gayle. She weighs about 305 now and is a bag of wrinles so I dont know if oyu would want to see her on the stage with Prince. Remember how Prince clowned Fink and Brownmark for looking so old and fat at the Celebration when they got onstage with him.

Was that band, technically, called The Revolution? I thought that moniker didn't come about until the 1999 album. Before, that, the act was just Prince and he had a band for live performances.
I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here.

Bobby Z. from an Uptown interview on Wendy, "She brought so much to the group, and her personality brought so much to balance the band out and make it the band it became. It couldn't have become the Revolution with Dez. It needed her to bring that extra oomph! With Wendy in the band, and Mark Brown in the band, we felt like a band." So I guess when Wendy joined the band, The Revolution was born.

***scratches head**** I thought Gayle Chapman died?!?!?

I think the old Revolution would be nice to hear again, but I think I'll just stick with hearing them and seeing them on boots. lol
