Does he play 1999 at concerts? Does Prince play 1999 at any of his concerts? That is my favorite song and don't see it on any of the sets so far except one. If not, why doesn't he play it? | |

they play a little flourish of it at one point during the show, but they don't go into the song at all. i think i remember him saying he was retiring the song after the year 1999 was up... | |

He has retired 1999. At least that's what he told us a few years ago. He didn't do it at either of the Toronto shows. | |

He didn't play it at either Reno (27 March) or San Jose (2 June). I also understoond Prince to say he was retiring that song at the end of the year 1999.
