Purple Rain cd in I.Robot

When we enter Will Smith's house there's a rack with cd's to the left side of the screen... The first cd in the rack is Purple Rain smile
Couldn't help but notice... wink

Someone just lent me a "trial" DVD of I, robot, but I've held out from watching it, as I think its a big screen must.

I might watch the other trial DVD's he lent me though....Collateral, Code 46, The Village and Catwoman, Hellboy, Van Helsing, Farhrenhiet 911, Godsend..... shhh

They should prefix every Will Smith movie with "The Fresh Prince stars in...." because he plays the same character in every single film I've seen him in (bar Ali).

Quick Story for y'all:
After the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, P put on an aftershow here in NY at Club Black. I was there. Anyway, quite a few stars showed up to see prince do his thing and pay their respects. Among the attendees were Alicia Keys, Anita Baker, Andre 3000, Big Boi, Lenny Kravitz, Puff Daddy, Musiq Soulchild etc. The show didn't start til about 1:30 am. Anyway, Mr. Will Smith showed up right before the show began trying to use his fame and noteriety to get in the door. He asked them to send word backstage that he was there and wanted to get in. Prince sent word back that it would cost him $89 bucks, just like everyone else paid to get in. Needless to say, Will left, a little perturbed.

Same goes for "I, Robot"... Read the book with the short stories instead... Asimov was a genius and of course Hollywood wants to milk it, it's just too bad his own estate doesn't see that...

Damn, you'd think for a multimillioniare like WS $89 would be like 5c pocket change! And you'd also think that with him and his equally talentless wife being together for so long, around each others mediocre celebrity, that they'd want to be in the company of some REAL TALENT!...

Guess his celebrity status is kinda stale - Fresh Prince no longer...

Him & his wife gave a free concert at an outdoor mall last night here in L.A. They showed a bit of it on the local news. Not very impressive neutral .

Will is actually a very talented brotha... I pretty much would like to achieve in all the different genres he has (with acting first). I think he has finally matured from his FRESH PRINCE stage to a serious actor...really.. so so much for the haters.... (he is also a LIBRA, like myself... we command balance LOL). At least we knwo he has good taste.. I am sure he planted that Purple Rain CD to be seen (as he is one of the financial contributors to the movie).....

by the way, wasnt that the subject....the CD being in the movie...not the MOVIE itself? (I thought it was pretty good)
Tsk Tsk, What a pity...sometimes Life can be so shitty....
