misicology tour favorite moments Ok, org now now that you've seen the tour what are your favorite moments(those that have'nt you are in for a treat) I just love the opening intro when Alicia keys explain why she loves Prince so much and he comes from under the stage simple.... but effective. and also the acoustic segment just shows what a accomplished musician P really is. the whole show is great but these two just stands out imo. with hip-hop dominating the charts and airways it's good to see the kind of performance prince puts on.

When he put his guitar on the stage and humped it....hey, he did it at our show. Plus, when he sits down and starts reading the issue of Rolling Stone with him on the cover. SPREAD LOVE UNTIL THE SUN'S FINAL RISE--The Duality a.k.a. "WYNTER SKYE"

I can tell you that my favorite moment certainly was not at the first show I went to, when instead of hearing Prince sing "Adore", I instead heard a crazy woman screaming the entire song into my ear. "We're all members of the animal kingdom
Leave your brothers and sisters in the sea" "If U had the chance 2 see the future would U try?"

The best moment was when he did Controversy. This was the 4th time I've seen P live and I've never heard this song live. Absolutely killer, Candy's sax solo brought the tune to another level, and for a guy who doesn't do racey lyrics anymore, I couldn't believe my ears when he started doing the "People call me rude, I wish we all were nude, I wish there was no black and white, I wish there were no rules", I lost my freakin' mind. Unbelievable and this was no medly stuff either, but a full version.

Reno, March 27: Prince literally overwhelmed by the ecstatic reception the audience gave to his acoustic version of Little Red Corvette. (According to the EW article, the same thing happened at Staples on March 29.) "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

IT WAS WAY SEXY, I ALMOST WET MYSELF IN ANTICIPATION FOR HIM TO COME OUT. So your favourite part at a live concert was video footage of a totally different performer??? Okay, I think I will skip this tour when he comes over here...

The only moment that really impressed me was when he played Bambi. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

People started going out of their minds when they heard what song it was. He stopped the song, stepped off his stool and gave us all this really dramatic "shut the fuck up and let me play my goddamn song" look. "We're all members of the animal kingdom

The end of Purple Rain at Staples Center March 29. I always love that part where the audience participates. Kinda wish I had a lighter during that part!

LMMFAO it's funny u should say that cuz i had bought a purple lighter that day (that matched my t-shirt perfectly LOL) for the specific reason..i never ended up using it cuz i was overwhelmed by emotions - my friend did tho LOL i have many favourite parts... when he was killin that fender (and s-l-i-t-h-e-r-e-d back 2 it, theres a pic of that in the gallery...)and had a mini funeral for it LOL the stank breath blues ("something smells funky...is that ur breath or mine?....i had those clorettes....u had them other kind" SERIOUS jokes!) some barefoot girl was onstage dancin with him and he was like "whats your name?" and she was about 2 talk and he was like "it dont matter ure shoeless!" or his lil tantrum that he had...he stopped playing, and went over to his little lounge, one of the band members brought over a mag for him to read, and it was the rolling stone one (may 2004) and the croud just went nuts LOL and he was all like "im not listening!!! i cant hear you!!" ohhhhh my God...ok i'll shut the eff up now jus thinking back 2 that night hahaha, good times no doubt

I went to the Musicology concert not that long ago. The drummer on his solo was off the chain. I liked when he was reading a magazine and playing drums at the same time! he was TOOOOO COLD!!!! I didn't even know I was going to the concert in the first place so it was a very nice early birthday present for me to see Prince & his band in action. My birthday is on Sept. 2nd. There are no words to explain how I feel about Prince, BUT his drummer stole the whole concert. That si a bad MUG!!!! ------;;;;;'

I also like when Prince told the croud " I know what y'all need" & turned around & started doing butty dances to the audience. I was just sitting there like YEAH! It was very funny and sexy of him. ------;;;;;'

Was that the Chicago 7/23 show? I liked that part too. Especially the part in "Kiss" when he did the twirl. For almost 20 years, I have wondered what the hell the twirl was. It's 1984 All Over Again!

I thought it was awesome when he dedicated Sometimes it Snows in April to David Coleman at the March 29th Staples Center show. It really meant a lot to Lisa and her family that he did that.
