I've always wondered if those folks who find Prince's snide remarks and 'jokes' about others' appearance would still find it so hilarious if he were to insult *THEM* and their looks, or their mom's or wife's, in front of an entire audience, all in an attempt at eliciting a cheap laugh at another's expense.

I don't know. I guess it's funny in a juvenile, perverse way but it still seems inconsistent coming from someone who claims such respect and compassion towards animals and little children that he'd alter his lifestyle and career to accomodate that respect/compassion...yet he doesn't mind insulting someone's looks in front of thousands. Maybe some folks wouldn't mind his jabs, but others might be hurt that their idol used them as the butt of a joke. It just seems mean to me.

I know -- don't "rank" on the skinny people. It's true, though, some form of starving yourself does slow down the aging process, but not eating at all just makes your metabolism slower and then, in the end, you'd gain weight.

But, I am 29 and I look really young because I am thin and short (5 ft, 89 lbs) and I'll stay this way cos Prince likes 'em skinny (I think), but Prince doesn't like 'em my age, though (cry, cry). But since I look young, I can pass (yippie!).

Anyway, Prince's humor can be "cruel" sometimes. I couldn't believe he called that girl "Grandmaw" and she was younger than him!!
