Promo copy of TGE

I got a promo copy of The Gold Experience by accident. Should I replace it for a normal copy, or is the promo version actually rarer or more valuable? Keep in mind I bought this cd cuz it's out of print. Feel kind jipped that they put of sticker over the promo copy words, then got home to take off the sticker and discover the gold promo letters. Should I keep it or get new one? Any help would be appreciated, I don't know much about this stuff.

By the way, what does it look like? Was it the one David Letterman showed that night Prince performed Dolphin?

IIRC, the promo TGE looks identical to the released version except for the "promo copy- not for sale" business. Tracklist is the same.
