Happy birthday "Letitgo"

It's the 10th birthday of "Letitgo". After the worldwide success of "the Most Beautiful Girl in the World" WB released on 08/09/94 "Letitgo". I really love this song. Do u agree?

sorry, but this song is just plain dull. no life whatsoever. maybe my least fave prince song. i can't believe he removed endorphinmachine, interactive and strays of the world - three top-notch songs, and replaced them with this dud. i think it might have worked better in a another context - emancipation, maybe? but on come, it's just....zzzzz

This is a jammin song. Not too shabby like Greatest Romance, or even Take Me With U, it is just nice 2 sing along too.

My first time i remember hearing it on the bus on my way to Junior High School, i was in the 7th grade
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

"Letitgo" is a gem y'all. I remember a live version I heard on npg ahdio that blew my mind. I love the whole premise of this tune.

Listen - the album version is so so - do yourself a favor and get the remix maxi single. Very Very nice _ he even mixes (well J. Swift does), Dorothy Parker in one versions. Check it out I urge you - well worth it.

GottaLetitgo

Great song (of course what would you expect someone named Gottaletigo to say). One of his most honest and human songs...a complete acknolwedgement of his occasional propensity to act like a complete a$@hole but done in such a funky way that you just want to give him a hug and a pound and say "It's alright, man." Bouncy, funky, unlike anything else on the radio at the time (in a good way). Should have been a hit but alas it was caught in the crossfire with Warners. One of my Top 10 faves!
All good things they say never last...
