Interesting question on How much Prince is really worth?

Do you mean net worth, etc?

I would say its definitely in the tens of millions and that's not counting what's in the vault and stuff he probably has done between Emancipation '96 til now that we dont even know about that possibly has growth and radio and records commercial potential.

It's good he's got a strong team of lawyers including Londell McMillan any time he needs him.

I always wonder what will happen to his body of work when he passes away tho i dread to think about that day.

I liked how Jim Hendrix's Family fought in court to get liscense and property of all his music, etc. even developing their own line of official"Experience Hendrix" bootlegs. Smart!

Prince is priceless! Like all of us as humans. But in man's written laws I'd say the upper tens of millions all together. Buy the time its all over with sampling fees, publishing rights, etc I'd say its be in the low to mid 100's of millions. who knows?

peace!

Oh man. Just think he must clear at leat 100,000 per show NOW, and probably more if not the same (when 100,000 had more value) ten years back. Add that with the countless number of hits he had, merch, record sales (which keep in mind, he makes almost all of the money off of now since NPG releases his CDs), publishing rights, sampling rights, and any fees he may have charged for people to record at Paisley. Even the Celebrations make him a fortune. I suspect that he has much more than it seems on the surface.

Lets think about it...

Paisley Park cost $10 Million to build

Emancipation & Crystal Ball made prince his cut $24 Million

New Power Soul made him another $2 Million which he bought a house in Spain..

New house in Canada for $4 Million

hmmm??

ok, Lets say..

He has around $45 Million.. not liquid.. but $25 - $45 Million..

More than you, me, and all of the orgers combined! And as far as I can tell, that's entirely justified.

It took the Hendrix family 30 years to untangle the mess that his estate was in. The Hendrix family had to battle former associates and ex-managers to wrest control of Hendrix's music away from people who really shouldn't have had any claim to his legacy.

Prince now has a new wife, Manuela. As his wife, she is his next of kin. Unless he has a will stating otherwise, his wife would be the person who has control of his estate if he passed away.
Manuela is his legal heir as long as she is his wife. If they have children together and then divorce, then their children would still be his heirs but his ex-wife would not be.
