The DJ at a hot club in town has given me the chance 2 get some prince tunes in2 the place 2 get the party started and some booty movin.Because everytime i go in he has the same old shit,like yeah cream is a classic but 1999!!..is that all ignorant peeps think prince has released?.so when i complained about his lack of choice he said hey..u bring me it in,and i will play it..so what if u were out and wanted some funki prince grooves what would u choose to get lots of peeps 2 the nite away?

Hmmm, I'm scared to ask what "club music" means to most people these days, but one song I would have as a staple is 'Something In The Water (Does Not Compute).

Maybe in some of the more mainstream/hip hop/top 40 orientated bars/clubs those tracks can be played but in the more electronic music orientated clubs you would hear other prince tracks. Most of them remixed, with the exception of "erotic city" which I still play in it's original extended version as an encore or just simply in the middle of a set if the dancefloor isn't sweaty enough (ofcourse there are also plenty of remixes of E.C.) Controversy got remixed a million times but can't really say I heard a good version so far. About a year ago I heard a great remix of Prince's "all the critics love u in NY" done by the low end specialist. I feel a lot of Prince tracks will be remixed in the near future though. But none of the other tracks mentioned above. Personally I would love to hear a good remix of Lady cab driver. Maybe I should do it myself .....
