For those of you in DVD Region 2, that's the UK and Europe, here's a copy of the official announcment plus release date (October 18) for the Purple Rain SE 2 disc DVD set and also info on GB and UTCM.

It lists the extras too, but they look the same as the Region 1 version, but I'd appreciate it if someone can point out any differences.

Personally I'm going to buy the Region 1 set as I have a fancy schmancy DVD player that can play US discs.
