Yes, this is very old news. Not necessarily this particular article, but the topic in general has been discussed ad nauseam

...But that's never stopped us before, so let's have at it!

Yes, you can get the whole album on bootleg ("Dream Factory Remastered" - Sabotage 193) in near perfect sound quality ... if you know where to look.

I can understand.
When new to this the outtake part of the Prince universe is like Walhalla. I cannot wait until I get my copy of The Vault.

That's some fucked up article. Oh, yes. Yes, leaving off "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night" and "Adore" and replacing them with "Wonderful Ass" would have made it a far more superior album. neutral

Well Camille and Crystal Ball are official final tracklists. Dream Factory however is merely the
last configuration to be sequenced before the album was shelved (it would have almost
certainly undergone a few more changes had it ever been released).

It's also worth noting that there are slight discrepancies in the exact track order for this
version of Dream Factory between bootlegs and Uptown's listing (I've changed the above
tracklisting to show the bootleg order, but personally I'm more inclined to believe the
originally posted Uptown verified sequence).

I really think "Wonderful Ass" should have made it onto a Prince album. It's a terrific song and I'm sure he could have squeezed it onto 'SOTT' somewhere.I'd rather have this track instead of the filler track "It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night".

Sign O' The Times' running time is fairly short(ish), and you easily fit at least 2 more tracks on
there without any problem at all. Prince could have fitted another 10ish minutes of music on
there easily before starting to sacrifice loudness and quality.
