Graffiti Bridge ...If Only Prince Wasn't Disappointed with a Fine Film but Not Received well. It was CUTE. Yeah,I had the outtakes also. Gotta find them..Yes,I agree..Wish it were a Single..Prince gave up on Graffiti Bridge when the Critics and Warner's Panned it..Fans Loved it and he Should have Toured the US and Not Given Up Soo Darned Fast. We LOVED the GREAt Tunes in GRAFFITI BRIDGE.... It just Wasn't PROMOTED RIGHT....Plus Graffiti Bridge was More SEx and This SEQUEL Was More RELIGION and Well I Think People NEEDED to Have THE OLD Instead of the NEW so it Didn't SELL. I've always liked this one but the GB scene with this song is one of the most ludicrous scenes in the history of film. You have Prince, dressed like a zebra with a bandaid on his nose, playing his heart out, oblivious to the fact that bar patrons are walking out in droves. By the end of the performance, there are 6 people having an orgy on the floor, Prince still seemingly oblivious. I wonder if all those people who left earlier would have still left if they had known it was going to turn into a full-fledged sex party. Of course, that was probably a daily occurence at the bar that George Clinton owned.
Anyway, good song, catchy and not preachy, like it a lot. All good things they say never last... | |

I agree with everything U said.  I loved this movie. I liked all of the performances by P in the movie.
