I scooped up some '88 singles this weekend Woohoo. I'm still so buzzed I just have to share 
Last saturday I went into town with two friends and we passed this secondhand store which I've already seen a million times but never entered. But one of my friends decided she wanted to check it out so we went and had a look. There were tons and tons of garbage but right in the back there was a little shoebox with a handfull of cds in it. Amongst those were -to my surprise- two Prince singles from the Lovesexy album. It was the "Alphabet St." maxi single and the maxi single of "I Wish U Heaven". Trying to surpress my obvious exhilleration I went to the counter cool as possible and said "Uhm, like how much would these two be?". Guess what, they were only 1,50 dollar for the two of them. 
So I've been jamming to the long versions of all them songs all weekend. Best of all is "Scarlet Pussy" long version. Yoo hoo. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

yes indeed. I couldn't believe it when I saw them. Especially the Alphabet St maxi, I had never even seen that before. If the guy in the shop had been able to see through my pokerface, he would have charged me much more LOL. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

Wow, because I have got them as well (but I bought them in back in the days when the songs came out...) And - I just love that long version of I wish you heaven... I almost got hold of the Glam Slam CD once, but the guy could see I couldn't hold back my grin, and decided not to sell it! Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop. | |
