I have 1999 cd. and it doesn't have DMSR. Just not right!
I got it when cd's first started coming out. and to save space they didn't put on DMSR.

I have the 1999 CD (my friend bought me another one) And on the lyric sheet at least three of the songs aren't on there with their lyrics. On my friends, she has all of the lyrics. It's weird....

I picked this upto when I first started getting the CDs to replace my cassette albums.

Picked up the full version a year or two later.

Nice to have it, like the un-tracked Lovesexy, which seems rarer in the UK now than the tracked version.

Sorry 1999 without DMSR isn't worth anymore than the price you paid for it. they're not that rare.

I have the same damned CD.

It seemed a little "different" than what I remembered.

THen I realilzed that DMSR was missing.

I got really angry at that point, and din't calm down until I released I had hundreds of boots I could just listen to.

I heard the original CD did not include "D.M.S.R." I would have been mad as hell. Fortunately, I never got into CDs until the 1990s. I've bought all the CDs but I still prefer my vinyl.

I never felt any reason to keep the original cd release of 1999...got rid of it after I got the original album version of the cd later on.

i have the old 1999 CD also. planned to buy the newer CD with DMSR, but was told this particular track sound out of tune with the rest of the album in CD format, how true is that?

The song was left off, because at the time, CD technology could not hold enough data to include D.M.S.R.. The album would have been a 2 disc set, and Warner Brothers did not want that. So they left it off.

CD technology improoved, therefore they add the song on newer presses.
