On the cover of the 12 maxi single, it describes the title track as an extended version, but the track on the disc is only the album version. Does enyone know if a remix of 'If I was your Girlfriend' exists?

The label is misleading, in that it means it's "extended" as opposed to the 7" single version, which is an edited version of what's on the album. I dunno if there's a remixed or altered version of the song circulating, though I don't think one exists in any official capacity.

I've heard a bootleg remix, not very good though.

It is the same as the album version but at least the B Side is extended. The "When Doves Cry" 12 Inch is the same as the album version and the B Side is the same as the 45. I didn't buy that one because I learned my lesson with the "Let's Pretend We're Married" 12 Inch.
