Every song on Purple Rain is a masterpiece

though "I Would Die 4 U" is my least favourite and is also
the least interesting musically,.

Every song on there is excellent, the only thing that's a little off is Apollonia on Take Me With U.

I would have to say my least favorite is "Take Me With You", and that's only for the Apollonia factor.

For what it's worth the least are Let's Go Crazy, Take Me With U and Baby I'm A Star.
All the other songs range from 'good' to 'great'.

TGE didnt stand the test of time, neither did Lovesexy, and basically everything after lovesexy.

Take Me With U is a great pop song... The rest of the album is really great too. The only weak link in Purple Rain for me is I Would Die 4 U. Interesting chorus, lyrically, but that's about all that holds my interest in this song.

And Computer Blue long version kills all the other songs, except for maybe Purple Rain in concert.

It´s easy 2 say PR isn´t that important...NOW!!!
But when it came out it was´DA BOMB!!!!!
This one was played in dance-clubs AND alternative bars,
no other artist was-and is-xcepted by both crowds(maybe Bowie&Springsteen).
Let´s Go Crazy has always been my less fav,it was great when
they used 2 play it so much,at least they played Prince
and even some BonJovi fans got in to it but...hmmm,that´s no good huh????

I never cared much for "I Would Die for You", and "Purple Rain".

If the songs are performed live, Purple Rain is one of the best, but it is the worst song on the album as far as the album version goes.
