DVD Releases? Anyone? I know this question has probably been asked before more than once but I will do it again for the sake of asking. Is there any info out there on plans to release any older Prince flicks. Such as Sign O' The Times or other Warner Brothers owned material. I would love nothing more than to get my hands on a copy of Prince and the Revolution Live on DVD myself.
Any info would help at this point, and if there are no plans, Why? =============================================

Prince hates Wbros so it may be awhile. I hope they put extra stuff on there like extra songs, interviews or outtakes. I wished thy did that with Purple rain too. ______________________________________________

Only Purple Rain and Rave are on DVD right now. I'd look for Under The Cherry Moon and SOTT Movie next - WB needs to make $$.
I am always on the prowl for Prince DVD's too!

I don't think Prince would have much say in them releasing any of this stuff. They should release all the films to DVD including, and this really would be a dream, the '86 Birthday concert that was shown on TV but never releasd on video at all!!

The 86 concert in Detroit was issued on japanese laserdisc .
And don't forget the Lovesexy concert in Dortmund, avaible on pal laserdisc until the mid 90's .

I was wondering because I haven't seen the Purple rain DVD.. I heard it is in widscreen,
just wondering IS there any "interesting" shots or camera movements.. when YOU see it the way the "DP" director of photography.. wanted us to see! anything cool in the corners .. we didn't see in the "pan and scan" version??? hmmmmm...
