Someday I would like to take a trip to see Princes Club Glam Slam, probably the one in florida. I would like to know what if is like.
Do they play mostly Prince Music?
Does Prince visit there alot?
Are there other celebs there?
and anything else you Prince People Know

I lived in Miami from '95 to '98 and I believe when I left they closed Glam Slam on Washington. But, yes, he did show up from time to time. 4th July wkend '97!!!!!Walked around w/a mike that distorted his voice and talked over trance music while walking thru dance floor!!!!Unbeleivable!!!!!

Eye went 2 his Glam Slam club that he use 2 have in LA back in 93, it was ok. They played alot of his music but eye was kinda disappointed cause they didn't have any of his guitars hanging on the walls or any other kind of things that b-longed 2 him, but eye'm glad eye got 2 go there b4 it closed down.

I went to the one in Japan (Yokohama). In the entrance way, they had a couple of Purple Rain outfits, a guitar, & the black motorcycle from Graffiti Bridge. I got to jump on that sucker for a picture.

I don't really recall them playing that much Prince music there. It was pretty much like a regular club except everything (glasses, coasters) had the symbol on it. Oh, & there was a giant, impressive-looking throne that nobody was allowed to sit on except Prince.

I don't believe that any of these clubs exist anymore though.
