funniest shit ever! Prince "gay to the third power" Ok, i just heard the soundfile of Howard Stern talking about Prince, and this is so funny man. Here below is the (very rough) transcript. There are three people: Stern, some woman and some guy appearently named Fred. (Im from Europe so i don't know this radioshow).
Stern: someone sent me a tape of Prince, a bunch of live-performances from television appearances of Prince? Man that SOB has gotta be the most talented guy in the world. Fred: he’s a genius Woman: Was he at Madison Quare Garden while we were away I think so .. but I tell ya, aside from the incredibly gay outfits which, i mean in the 80s Prince was wearing only sparkly frilly women’s clothing and skin-tight .. so you could see his ass skintigt .. and like hoods, and like .. and like open .. buttocks, and belly-shirts yeah he was the one, he used to tie his shirt up that’s the one sorta chink in the armour ... if you will .. yeah that he’s so girly .. you know who seems to completely steal from him in style and the way that he moves around on stage? Dave Navarro (very dry) I don’t think so. I mean he sorta like has the same moves on stage Dude you’re telling me that Dave Navarro can dance like Prince? No no no I’m saying he tries to in my point I never seen that i think He sorta copies him * (telephone-voice): Prince is like 5’1 prince wears women’s shoes and He wears high heels that right he would have the little spiky f-me pumps on and he you know .. its just not cool but, the dude, he comes up there and he’s dressed like freaking liberace-square like gay to the third power it’s almost cross-dressing, you can call him a cross dresser so he’s losing you right there, and then, he so good he’s the best guitar .. i .. err .. this is kinda controversial, but i think he’s a better guitar player than Eric Clapton He’s good .. he’s real good I do! I mean .. he did a solo on the rock ’n roll hall of fame on “While my (??) ..” he’s really good. Fred am I off on this? He’s a great .. I wouldn’t say better than Clapton but definitely right up there in that league .. and a great singer and a great songwriter and a dancer! he’s a dancer as well. He dances like a little ballerina and then he had lunch at some black channel where they invited him to play acoustic which I had never seen before he just played some of his hits like ‘Cream’ and all that kinda stuff I’d say, and this is going out on a limb, he’s a better dancer than Eric Clapton (??) if they had like a dancing contest, Clapton would lose at the dancing? Clapton wouldn’t make it to that who knows? Maybe Clapton can dance? I think he even designed those clothes, can Eric do that? you know Eric’s so manly he wouldn’t want that. I know Eric Clapton would laugh at Prince. At one time, I was watching some rock ’n roll hall of fame and Eric Clapton was there and ... i guess Aerosmith got some award and Steven Tyler comes running up on stage, and he’s wearing like, it looked like ...(?) veils and scarves ..... and he comes up and he’s got like .. silk scarves and like a dress and he’s .. flip ... and Clapton is looking at him .. and Clapton starts laughing, but not like overtly laughing, but just like trying to hold back a laugh ...;(?????,) it’s like ‘Ooh it’s Harry Potter’ ‘Grant me a wish!’ ‘Hey wizard, grant me a wish!’ (laughing) Clapton’s like ‘what the hell, what kinda freak is this!’ Its like holy cow you don’t have to go through this, you’re Steven Tyler. He’s the guy who hardly dresses, he just gets out there with his guitar (in funny voice) ‘Dude you’re getting older, it’s time to put on some pants. Get out of your dress’ But Prince is now wearing suits and stuff and trying to be a little more manly A little more manly yeah wel you know he’s got a couple of years of not being prince though .. and then they go on talking about Clapton some more ...

Fun post!
Hehehe Did you transribe this? Cuz the guitarsolo Prince did was on George Harrison's While My Guitar Gently Weeps. On which Clapton actually did the original guitarsolo.
