Prince is one of the greatest artist that ever lived that i know. But, if i could change one thing that would make him a better artist, i would have to say, the way he does his videos. He need's to get more into the videos to bring out what he's trying to say. I think it would be more appealing to the fans and make him a much better artist. Then just standing around singing on a stage.

I guess maybe it would be good if he took a break to evaluate some of his past work. Of course it's a difficult balance and I'm sure he doesn't want anyone to think he is resting on his past accomplishments but I think it would be great if Prince concentrated just a little bit more on his past work. He always seemed to pick the wrong songs from his albums to release as singles, and left the good ones alone, examples:

The Gold Experience : I Hate U -shoulda released: Dolphin

Diamonds & Pearls : Money Don't Matter 2nite - shoulda released: Live 4 Love

Emancipation : Why the hell didn't he release 'One of Us' instead of Betcha By Golly Wow? A much more worthwhile re-interpretation. BBC Radio 1 were even playing it regularly at the time.

I know on U.S. radio records with a lot of guitar don't traditionally get much airplay, but in the UK it's different.

Maybe if he'd released these songs instead, he would have more than 1 measly UK number one!

( He's still awesome though)

More raw guitar work on his studio albulms. A lot of it sounds too slick for me.

He needs to tell more of a story? Every song he sings has a story to it. Just like his song on musicology...Life of the Party.... listen to the words and notice how hes late to all his concerts, and now his latest after party. The only thing i would change is that i wish everyone could get the chance to get up and dance with him, but that would be impossible, HA. Otherwise i love the NEW Prince and wouldnt change a thing, Except please let us bring cameras....mmmm
