Does anybody know about... a very special edition of the symbol album which is a 2CD edition with extra tracks/remixes and a different tracklist? It is a long blue velvet box. I saw it in my home country (Turkey) in a special gift fair back in 1995 (I was 18 and stupid and didn't buy, it was very expensive though). I am looking for it since... Kinda reminds me of this 3 or 4 cd set in this little metal case  saw on a trip 2 Indonesia N 1994. It didn't have Prince anywhere but did have the old pre- symbols on it and no tracklists 2 the cds. just knew it was Prince. knew it had a real xpensive price tag and was on my last day N Indonesia & broke. still kick myself 4 not buying it or at least ripping it off! | |

Sounds like bootlegs. Many were packaged quite beautifully. I have a 12" x 12" gold colored aluminum tin with an embossed " " on it. It contains four 24k gold CDs of his 12" extended versions and remixes. There are many other very nice box sets that look somewhat legit.If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
