The Tora Tora Experience album

During the 1995 European Tour, I was fortunate enough to get a copy of the NPG Sampler Experience cassette in Sheffield (and hear the afternoon soundcheck through the arena doors - plenty of bass on DOW/Hair and an instrumental of Zannalee among others) - the casette wasn't ready for my first show in Wembley, I guess.
On the cassette, Get Loose! (eventually on CB in 1998) was titled (Lemme See Your Body) Get Loose! and was introduced by the NPG Operator as coming from the soon to be released Tora Tora Experience.
Exodus was complete and being released at the time, so which other tracks would have been on the Tora Tora Experience? So Dark (also on CB) came from the same time, so maybe that, 18 & Over - what else?

Perhaps there never was a 'Tora Tora' album at all. I mean, Prince records so many songs and starts so many projects..

So perhaps he just had a couple of songs ready 4 an album by 'tora tora' but then lost interest again and decided not 2 continue.

I say this cuz he hasn't ever talked about this album on any other occasions. If it were something that was pretty much finished and mixed, Prince or the other bandmembers would have spoken more about it.

But I like the idea tho. Another 'alter ego' disc. It could B filed in R cd-racks right next 2 the unreleased JAMIE STAR disc & the cancelled CAMILLE album smile

songs like "Hide The Bone" & "Da Bang" would've been quite suitable 4 such a project. Or "Superhero". Stuff like that.

How about the Tora Tora Tora Experience album. With a bit of a Pearl Harbor twist to it.

Jamie Starr disc? Did you just make that up?

I agree that the Tora Tora Experience was probably more of an idea than an actual album - what would be on the Jamie Starr album idea?

NOOOOO

Please don't misunderstand me here, I don't mean to start any rumours.

Prince never said anything about that 'Jamie Star' album at all. I just made that up as an example of cool alter egos Prince has adopted.
