In his interview with NBC he was talking about how his concerts were tamer now, about how he wanted them to be places where "his own children could go". It's hard for childless people to say things like this.....

I have been thinking the same thing too. However, he could still be in the denial state of the death of his 2 childeren when he was with Mayte you know.

Why do some people insist on taking so literally every little thing Prince says (in interviews, songs, etc), and then hyper-analyzing and examining it??

First of all I don't believe he lost another child, it was just Gregory. I never even heard that Mayte conceived again after they lost the first one. I remember him saying in the Oprah interview that we have many children to have, but that was it.

Prince does not have children. If he did he would be just like MJ, you would see them in public sometimes on outings minus the scarfs on their heads and him hanging his kids from a balcony. When he said my children, he was probably just talking as if he did have children. With Prince being very open now than he ever has been in his career, he would definitely mention his children even by name. He's not making his marriage a secret why would he make being a father a secret? If you see his wife, you'll see his kids too.
