What do you guys wear to the Prince concerts? I started a post on another section, but I would like to know what fans generally wear (is being general is possible) to the concerts. And please shows pics if you have them. Thanks for the responses. I would also like suggestions if you all don't mind. Thanks!

I hand-made a Symbol necklace out of beads and put one of those mini-glowsticks in the head part. I was two rows from the stage, by the band section, and they kept looking at me trying to figure out what the glowing thing was. Other than that, I just wore something dressy/casual. Oh wow...where 2 begin? Let me just say that when I took my 14 year old sister..(I feed off her youth) We went all out on the purple gear. Wish I had a pic, but I don't right now, i'll post one later when I find it. But being my sisters second concert she wanted 2 just go crazy--no pun intended. It was fun. But the other times that I went with my friends it was usually some kind of black with atleast something purple of something having 2 do with Prince. Whoohoo my glow bracelette. Well actually I think any kind of clothes will do, although in the ticket says something like "wear something purple", but I don't like wearing purple.

I'll be wearing all black, as usual.
I recently ordered a "True Funk Soldier" tee from the NPGMC website, but I think I'd feel corny wearing it to the show! The Normal Whores Club

I remember when I went to my first P concert in 1993 - while we were queing, there was guy who'd come wearing one of the Diamonds & Pearls style outfits, with the curvy neckline, and the chest exposed (kinda like the one below) - and he looked daaaaamn stoopid!!
The outfit was too big, and he was a young, skinny, white dude.... (and, plus, he wasn't Prince!!!) From the way he was walking, with his head hanging down, it was clear that he'd been jeered and mocked from the moment he arrived! Heehee..... In case he's out there reading this - Dude, 11 years on.... I'm stiiiiillll laughing at yooooouuuuu!!!!! I LOVE IT! I saw a Guy dressed as a PRIEST in Purple Velvet and Another guy in Purple Velvet and some gals with Purple in their hair. Of Course we ARE There for Prince But We as Fans can be somewhat Performers also. I Think One should Dress as they Please. I also saw a guy with a Blue Sequined Outfit. I Think Costumes are Pretty Cool. The Boas were cool also. I Don't Know Why we fans Started the Costume thing but I Think it Adds a FUN Vibe to going to a PRINCE Concert. It Makes it like a REAL PARTY ya Know...Masquerade Ball...All Fabulous...I wish Prince would Dress as a VAMPIRE one time when I was There. I Would Probably SCREAM BLOODY HELL and they would have to get the OXYGEN cause that Would be the COOLEST S$IT! Ever....Prince as a Vampire with the whole Vampire Suit and Bloody Fangs...I Know I Have OUTRE DESIRES..But if I Ever Saw Prince like in Velvet and Lace and Riding Boots I Would DROP DEAD Talking Bout it In The Village and EVERYWHERE for LIFE!

I like a party with the biggest freaks in town. The blacks, the whites, the straights, the gays, the pimps, the whores....all together under one roof all partying together with nothing but love. I'd like to go to a party like the old Studio 54 days where you had to have your own look to get in and the freakier the better. Andy is a four letter word.

See,that's Cool...Like in England Men Dress as Woman at Dinner Parties and Look at Madonna how she had like S&M Themed Parties or Leather Wear. If I Couldbe Topless or like wearing some Nipple exposed Leather thing I Would...But well I Think Nudity at Shows is Not Allowed..Unless Prince said it was O.K. on his Ticket. I am sure if he did people would Come to the show Very Naked and Ready to Dance. It would be very Wild but well that would be More for say his Afterparties...

I dressed in some dorky button-up black shirt with purple flames on it. I wore black jeans and purple converse all-stars. I had rose-tinted glasses and that's it (outside of my underwear -- purple boxers). Luv & Peace, Alex The ONLY Catwoman review w/ Prince!
