the 1995 NPG How awesome was this lineup: Prince, Mayte, Sonny, Tommy, and Michael B.
No stupid horn sections, no dumb ass rappers, and J-witness influence. The music was played hard, the songs were the best he ever released, and he just didn't give a fock about the industry, radio, or mtv. His song writing was peaking at this period of his life, and sad as it is to say, Prince musically has been "fee falling" ever since. LONG LIVE The 1995 NPG!!! The Gold Experience forever!!!

I can't believe you forgot Mr. Hayes!
They were the funkiest! Something cool about their chemistry. Would have loved to have seen them live. I guess seeing the Act I US tour was about the closest I ever got. Rod319

Its definetely one of my fav periods and,by the tiem Golde Experience was ouit on teh road - he had the perfect NPG...trimmed with no excess fat.
He's gone back to that free-loader stage again where he has a really cool core band but loads of people just there for teh sake of it...and his music has lost it's...coincidence????
