Interesting, i don't remember the trailer. I hope they put the deleted scenes back into the new DVD. any word on that?

Though I don't always agree with putting deleted scenes back in - they're edited out for a reason after all, usually because they spoil the flow or because it shows characters doing out of character things. The directors cut of Aliens was the first film I can remember that they re-issued with extras scenes where they actually added to the film.

Pretty rubbish trailer though, you don't get much sense of the movie, it looks more like a car-chase movie or something - endless shots of cars and his bike going past and people running, forever running...

I remember this trailer, and how the whole theatre had to keep telling me to shut the hell up through the movie we were actually there to see... some Nightmare on Elm St maybe?

Sweet Jesus, do I remember this! Man oh man, my friends and I RAN to the movies to see this thing over, and over, and over again. It was sick. But now I do see what the appeal was. His timing was perfect. This movie came out at the beginning of the MTV music video era. PR was one long extended music video that whispered dirty little ditties to the masses. I can't wait to get the 20th anniversary copy.

PS - I noticed all the deleted scenes as well.

Ugh, it's been a long time since I've seen that trailer. How they tease us with the boatload of shots NOT in the movie....

I'm sorry but the narration of the trailer makes me CRACK UP it sounds so corny now (and whoever it is, this guy's been narrating trailers since movies were invented)

The trailer is already on the existing DVD. At least it's on mine anyway.
