omg!! i loove this song!!! i've heard it sooo many times b4 and each and every time i hear it it hits me harder how beautiful it is. kinda does what I hate u does to me just sends a tingle up my spine and makes me go ahhhh i needed this. its really underrated 2. u hardly ever hear folks give any of his pre Purple Rain stuff props. if u never heard this song b4 (who hasn't? ) go here: http://cdzlimited.net/urb...rince.html . i definately place this song up there with his other underrated love songs like Something In The Water, Diamonds and Pearls, Scandalous, and Sometimes It Snows in april.

I don't rate it quite as highly as some of those songs you mentioned, but it is a lovely track.

I love it too. It was the first Prince slow jam I remember hearing.

I love this song! I wish he would perform it live.

People sleep on his first 2 albums but I'm telling y'all - "For You" & "Prince" are cut for cut, no skipping involved!

I do like this song too. It's no "It's Gonna Be Lonely" but it's real nice

It's an ok song but I think that like much of his pre Dirty Mind ballads it's a little too predictable. And I don't think it has the Prince stamp on it, whatever that is. I like It's Gonna Be Lonely much more but Still Waiting is better than With You. Not sure if I agree that Still Waiting should have been a single. Maybe he should have released Sexy Dancer or I Feel For You instead?

I do agree that his first two albums get slept on way too much. I think that most of those songs would sound great live.
