What Prince album segues/added touches annoys the most? I'm talking about in terms of segues and little ideas he added to albums that didn't necessarily have to do with the actual songs themselves..
I know many can't stand TRC's narrator, but I'd easily have to pick Lovesexy's one track idea here. That is easily the stupidest, most annoying, pointless touch he's ever made to an album. I mean, what could it have possibly accomplished? The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

The 'Symbol' album segues are a little annoying & tend to get in the way.
Actually, most of these 'segues' or 'skits' (or whatever you want to call them) are pretty annoying. Not just Prince but all artists. I buy CDs to hear music, not goofy skits. | |

I love the album, but can't deny that there are times where I wanted to call his pharmacist and tell Prince 2 take Vader the Narrator off of his Valium. I actually REALLY hate the Italian talking by that woman at the end of What Do U Want Me 2 Do....
...it's just pretentious and adds nothing. Almost every other segue I've heard has added something to the album, though. | |

The segue between We Can Funk and Joy In Repetition sucks because Prince ruined the Incredible beginning to JIR with the long, lone drum beat. __________________________________________________

The one album where I really LIKE the segues is The Gold Experiance. I love that album and I really like the "You have just accessed the *** experiance" stuff throughout. | |

I mean, what could it have possibly accomplished?[/color] yea i thought it was stupid @ first 2 but think about it...how many of us realy this to the WHOLE album? alot of us like 2 skip around. he didn't want that he wanted ppl to hear the whole thing. very annoyin especially since i can't put anna stesia on repeat but u have to admit when ya think about it its kinda smart. Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...

The ONes from "Come"
and EVERYTHING from Rainbow Children. The  album ones where o.k. at the time, becuase Prince was still shrouded in mystery for me so any clues that I could get of him, I appreciated (Remeber, this was before the Internet was widley available) | |

I hated all the extra sounds he added to "The Truth" album.

I HATE WITH TWO PASSIONS the NPG operator voice on The Gold Experience. I would rank it higher in my personal top ten were it not for that draining " You have just accessed the..... experience    " I may have missed out on that INTERACTIVE CD-rom thing he had, but it could not have been worse than The NPG operator.
