Apparently recorded with a girl called 'Poet99' who used to frequent Glam Slam West, handed him a tape of her 'raps' and he put backing vocals on them. I've not listened to them yet (in the process of sorting that out) but the whole thing smells skeptical to me. Anyone else got any light to shed?

Yep, got it! it's great. It's definately legit. you'll realise that when you hear Prince on vocals on some of the tracks (When he comes in on 'It's Our Music', it's almost a classic Prince special moment). It's definitely his music and vocals. Poet99 was sampled on 'Face Down' ("Dead like Elvis!") Days Of Wild ("Hold on 2 Your Wigs!") and he lifts an entire verse of hers on 'Joint 2 Joint'.

Only a five track EP, but short, interesting and funky.
