I was there. He was kind of making fun of Eric because his solo actually started a tiny bit later than expected, so Prince interpreted that as making the tune a bit 'windy' as if there was a lot of space to blow through. He has such a great musical sense of humor.
They enhanced it on the DVD release with a doppler sound effect. | |
