OMG - WHAT IF PRINCE BUYS BACK MASTERS On another thread of mine...
http://www.prince.org/msg/7/102007 nayroo2002 pointed out something I have not considered before What if Prince uses his new cash (and he's certainly earning a lot this year) to buy back his masters from Warner Bros (this is the sort of thing David Bowie did). If Prince then owns his masters will we ever see remastered albums? Will they be the same or will he edit the lyrics to get rid of dirty words? Will Darling Nikki ever be heard again? 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything. | |

According to my information he already got his masters back. Unfortunally he can't use it, because he doesn't own its rights.
When he ever decides to remaster those damn things he would probably overdub everything, remix it and change lyrics. Believe that! (still it would be nice..)   | |

Will Darling Nikki ever be heard again? as far as i kno the only way he can buy them is if warner's puts em up 4 grabs. Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...
