I have said this time and time again.

The major reason why Michael will never reach again, the success he once had is this.

1. He is always trying to make another Thriller, whereas Prince, has never tried to make another "Purple Rain".

2. Michael takes himself too seriously! All this "King of Pop" business. The one time Prince stated to get silly with himself, was when he had that dispute with WB and wrote "SLAVE" across is face.

If Michael would just shut-up and make music instead of making a spectical of himself, he would be better off.

MJ is so jealous of Prince. And today people are realizing and appreciating Prince more now than ever before.

Besides, does album sells always prove who's the better artist? When Michael came out with Thriller, he looked like Michael.

Prince is bigger to me for the fact that he does it for him!

Apart from that amazing foresight, when will this tired, boring debate ever end? I'm a big fan of both guys, they are two entirely different types of acts, but i have to say this really needs to stop. The names 'Prince' and 'Michael Jackson' mentioned in the same thread title should really signal an automatic lock from the mods.
