Prince is bigger than Michael Prince has to be the bigger star than Michael Jackson because he stays true to his music. Micheal just wishes that he could be as creative as Prince. I mean how years will Michael keep doing the moonwalk. Even with Jay Z and R Kelly's help, Michael couldn't get back on top. Prince is the ultimate legend, he needs help from no one but his fans of course. Maybe Michael should go to the school of Prince. | |

Unfortunately, I disagree. Prince will never reach the fame of Thriller. I think he should be considered better. especially since he is such an incredible musician. Mike's stage presence back in the day was more commanding than Prince's in any era. Dont misunderstand me, I think Prince's historic status should be viewed more highly, but he isnt. Yeah, I've always been kind of repulsed by MJ. But the simple matter is that MJ will be considered the bigger of the two stars.

Depends on what sense you mean "big". Musically, he dwarfs Mike (no pun!). In terms of straight up fame, MJ has that on lock & has for years (he's been around much longer & is the strangest muufucka on the planet, so it's to be expected). And I'll dare to say Prince has him beat as a live performer also & has for years now. Maybe not always, but certainly since '86 or so IMO (maybe sooner, I dunno)...

I totally disagree, Michael's biggest flop Invincible released almost 3 years ago sold 2 mil. copies in USA (2X platinum) while Prince's Musicology will sell 2 mil copies with the help of concerts and retail sales and it is considered his biggest succes of the past 10 years. Bigger ? No way, Prince will never sell albums in tens of millions, will never fill up hundreds of thousands people stadiums all over the world and will never make more than 2 or 3 videos of an album. | |

public opinion changes so fast, but, MJ and Madona will be remember like all the other 80's big selling fads like Cababage Patch Dolls, Rubics Cube etc,
Prince is and will be linked to Timeless masters like Hendrix, The Beatles, James Brown. you see that happening already, nobody really takes MJ seriously any more, and Madonas extended 5 minutes are fast coming to an end. MJ was and is a manufactured product like soda and jeans, Prince is an artist. | |

y does it matter? they're both legends and always will b..they're both big stars..and always will b.. IMO neither of them is better than the other cuz they're good n their own ways...Prince is real good wit the music. Mike is real good wit the stage. Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...

Prince is a better instrumentalist, producer.
Michael is a better singer,songwriter,performer. Michael is most probably the most famous man in the world, but Prince is more respected. MJ is hated thx to his stupidity and tabloids crap
