, it ain't that great, it's dull, slow & the moaning in the beginning doesn't help it, It also doesn't have to be 6 minutes.

I think Sometimes it Snows in April is the best ballad Prince has ever done. It has beautiful, heartfelt lyrics that make me break down and

It's hard for me to imagine anyone not liking this song.

I agree. There is a lot of dull stuff on the "Parade" album but this song is the dullest.

I don't agree wih you totally, except that maybe it is a bit too long, especially the start

I'm guilty of skipping over the first 1 min. 25 sec. sometimes, but when it comes to the lyrics, I could never trash that song. By the end I've cried a river, then I start it all over again.
