Nothing in the living room.I have my video collection on several shelves in the media room. I'm trying to archive them on DVD when I have time. Everything else is tucked away.

As much as I love Prince, I don't think I could have any posters of him in my living room. Now, in my TV room, I have two posters and my prince cd and book collection. Before I moved here, I had a huge stand up thingy of Prince that I bought from Sam Goody a few years back, but I don't think it would be appropriate to have it now....my son would tear it apart lol

Smooches;)

oh gads, depends on how old you are... a bit ridiculous to have fanster stuff all over your living room, if you're over 30.

unless you had a very nice artsy poster of some kind, beautifully framed... hmmm

or a lovely cross-stitch pillow of prince on the cover of, say, lovesexy. lol

I don't think "fanster" stuff has an age limit. There are Elvis fans in their 50s and 60s who have their houses filled with Elvis stuff. Ditto for older Beatles fans. And sports fans, like maybe a Minnesota Vikings fan, of whatever age, can have a Vikings rec. room.

Thats my favourite, he has such a happy face.

They gave those away for free at a local record store, in Finland that is.
On the other side there is close-up of his face, wich is so poorly done Photoshop-excercise (smoothing of his face) that i cant look at it.

I'd be happy to send you one, but they didnt have more posters there. Sorry.

When I was younger, I used to do the whole "Purple Rain" basement thing. The unicorns, the china dolls with the white faces, etc. I don't do that anymore. As I got older, I realized I have my own style just as much as he does. I'm mainly into modern contemporary, sectional couches, glass coffee tables with sculptures underneath, and big oriental screens.

In my bedroom, I do have two framed pen and ink pictures that I drew back in the day. When I drew the first one, I looked at the 12 Inch of Vanity 6's "Drive Me Wild". I drew Vanity's pose in a teddy with garters and stockings with one leg up against the wall. To be original (so no one would recognize it was Vanity) I added big Tina Turner hair and a full length fur coat. The second one, I drew from a Fredrick's of Hollywood catalog. I drew a lady in a shiny vinyl teddy with chains, garters, and stockings. For a finishing touch a put in Prince's "1999" video and hit "pause" on Jill Jones. I drew the hat that resembles a policeman's hat and placed it on her head. Those are about the only Prince inspired things I have on display. But then again, I have always liked the whole hooker look all the way back from Donna Summer's "Bad Girls". I used to draw her ALL the time. I wish I would have saved that stuff.
