I'm going to be moving next month. I plan to have a totally different living room than the one I have now, new furniture, decorating etc.

I'm wondering about how much Prince should I have in my living room? I have 2 Andy Warhol Prince prints that were professionally framed, so I plan to use those in the dining room. I also have a hook-n-eye symbol wall hanging that I'll find a place for. But so far, that's all I'm planning for the living room. I have a big rec room in the basement that could be a Prince Room, with all the 12s, 45s, and other stuff on display...but not sure about that yet.

So, how much Prince do you have in your living room

Apart from my CD/DVD/Bootleg collection which is in a cupboard there is no trace of my Prince obsession anywhere where I dwell.

Only thing I have out is the framed Movie Poster for UTCM -

in my living room/bedroom (i live in a studio apartment so i sorta have an all-in-one thing goin) i've got 4 posters hangin up and my video collection in the display drawer above my murphy bed.

Now that is my cupboard, or whatever you call it in English.

As you can see, it is filled with books, european graphic novels and the remainder of my vynil collection.

In front of the graphic novesl I have this small Sign "O" The Times cut out promotional carton of Cat.

And every now and then I face one record to the glass, mostly albums like Vanity 6 or indeed Sign "O" The Times.

I am a Prince fan stuck in the 80's. Firmly. Just because there are no Prince record sleeves these days. Prince has gone vir-tu-al on us. Bugger.

I keep the living room, and the house, Prince free.

My only indulgence is my study, where I have SOTT and Parade gold discs, a framed signed D & P Album, and the Black Album promo poster.

None, but one day (when I get a study, lol) I'll have the 12" of Hot Thing framed, front & back... which means I gotta find another copy of that thing

In my living room I have a clock made from the 33 of Money Don't Matter 2 Night. I also have various books lying around, the rest I have to keep hidden bcuz I am married.

Well, I do plan to have the Prince Warhol prints in the dining room. They work not just as Prince artwork, but as pop art by Warhol. Not sure yet on the whether to use the wall hanging..

I have a bunch of 12s, magazines, buttons, concert stuff and all kinds of Prince items packed away in boxes...no way I'd have that in my living room, but I do have a nice, big empty rec room in the basement to fill

In my room I have 2 Prince posters and my Prince Pillow! (Of course... )
And in my living room I have nothing, but I have an entertainment section of the house now ever since my friend moved out. I put my turn tables out there with all his vinyls and CD's and some posters and memorobillia. Flat screen TV..etc. So I guess that's my Prince-Shrine-Area.

In my living room I have a curio cabinet and there is a symbol guitar pic in there, stix from John B. on top and cds spewn all over the stereo.

I don't have anything P related in my living room. My living room is decorated like a Pier 1 showcase room, so anything P-related would throw the whole vibe of the room off.

Actually, I will get a candle at some point... probably put it in the bathroom

Well, mine appartment is 18m2 so theres not much room. But still, i used to have 6 posters and some others stuff on the walls. Plus all the cds and vids on the highest level of my cd-rack. After few months i got bored with the posters, so now i only have Revolution-poster (From inside Purple Rain LP), big poster of P dancing in red suit (from musicology sleeve notes) and 15x25cm sized poster of Prince's eyes staring at me on the WC door.

And theres picture of Prince, dez and andre on my outdoor and it says "if you didnt come to party dont bother knocking on my door".

Sometimes i wanna get rid of it all. Mostly im just happy staring at him.

I depends really. But its easy to get bored with the picts since my appartment is so small.
