Sing-a-long Purple Rain last night in SF was great! Did any other orgers go to this either Friday or Saturday?? At the last minute, a friend and I got tickets to the Purple Rain sing-a-long/drag show/"slut contest" (part of the "Midnight Mass" series at the Bridge theater in San Francisco). I only knew about the sing-a-long with PR (they showed the whole movie), not the other two aspects (which was the preshow for the movie), but that stuff was freakin' hilarious. The showing of PR was great too...not only did everyone sing along, but joined in some of the dialogue and shouted plenty of comments.  Not quite like the Rocky Horror Picture Show (at least not yet), but I was LMAO at some of the crowd feedback! 
The MC noted that this was the first time they'd ever added a second showing of a Midnight Mass performance (Friday night was the added performance). We lucked out and got tickets from someone at NPGMC who was unable to go. Hope they do it again sometime!  "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great.
