Has anyone read 'Prince ; a life in music' by matthew carcieri ? How is it ? how detailed is it ? which book / interview / article best describes prince's work method ?

Yep, read it. . .quick read actually.

Basically it is a short Prince bio with four recommended "tracklists" with 13 tracks a piece [except for the fourth that only has 11]. It's sort of a "listening guide" while you're reading the book.

The book is a bit gushy, but not too bad. . .All in all, it's a cheap and quick read. . .
