I know this is sacreligious for a Prince fan, but I didn't like Purple Rain that much before. Now I think it's one of the most beautiful songs ever!

Almost everything after "Purple Rain". Before "Purple Rain", I liked everything immediately. After "Purple Rain", I have to listen to the albums and let them grow on me.

I didn't like "Diamonds and Pearls" when it was first released. I would quickly turn the radio station whenever it came on. It's one of my favorites now!

I thought it was positively awful the first time I heard it.

Then I listened to New Power Soul, and now in comparison, I belive Jughead to be the pinacle of artistic achievement.
