I was just listening to Get Wild live in Holland and I could tell that the crowd was really into it. They must really like P over there..

That airplay is a good thing but it would actualy be better for him to come over and do some gigs.
And oh sure the dutch crowd is a good crowd. I have doubts however about 538 being the most popular radiostation. Marcel.

Not when you were at the last ONA Antwerp gig!!! I thinks the belgiums take the lead right now...: "Holland was fantastisch, maar jullie zijn nog leuker om voor te spelen" said Prince. ("Holland was great, but you are more fun to play for" said Prince.)

A lot of classics on 4FM-they play mostly 70&80´s music or artists from that era-but they´ve played´Cinnamon Girl´already twice.Though I think that´s not the best track on Musicology. The first single got a lot of airplay but the´popular´radiostations stick to his classics.Even more than be4 Musicology so it´s succes reflects on his past. ("Holland was great, but you are more fun to play for" said Prince.) Nonooh, you gotta tell the truth! He first said, before launching the band into Purple Rain: "We never know if we're gonna put this song into the set, but we rehearsed it for Holland..." and everybody, exept for the Dutch , started to boo. Then he said "You can boo all you want to but Holland is funky... if you want me to come back here you got to do better then Holland tonight!". This made the Belgians go absolutly freaking crazy and after the song he said "You're much better than Holland!". I think he understands the friendly audience competition between the two countries. I don't think he used to, but my feeling's Candy explained him. Still, we all must admit Belgium got some better shows the last few years. I don't know if it's the audience, though. But I remember the Rotterdam show in 98 and the Brussels show 2 days later, boy, what a difference. I just couldn't feel the vibe in Holland the past few years. But then again, a lot of Dutch fans are present at the Belgian shows, even more then the other way around, I guess. Mabey it's the power of the two funkiest audiences that provides that energy, right?!

Yep, this is about what roughly happened, altough in my opinion the competition between these countries were not that friendly! And ah...oh yeah... I told the truth....but thanks for telling the whole story! On the last ONA tour the belgium audience were more fun than the dutch!
