I honestly hope knowone can directly relate to "Papa"? Iam sure Iam wrong unfortunately!
By the way, was "Papa" autobiographical? "Diamonds and pearls"- I know this is sooooo corny, but Iam not rich and can only offer my love and little (ha!) else! And I used to feel that I should give her the world- but i found someone who just loved me and did not care if I could not buy her a present every few weeks! Loads others also- mainly the cliche sex songs! "Tick,tick bang"-honestly.....before I tick,tick,tick BANG all over u"- That is definately something i could realte to.Iam better know though (".....now Iam stronger, the ladies love a man who can last longer"- Mc hammer "This is the way we roll" "I love u in me"- simular territory really.....Most men must be able to realte to this and "tick tick bang"? | |

Strange Relationship etc., etc. Plenty.  It's why listening to Prince is so special, in a way that other artists' music just can't compare. Prince's music is like a biography of my life in so many ways.The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

The song I most relate to is "Goodbye" -- due to a very emotional period in my life from the day of January 1, 1998 up to sometime in March 1998.
"She Gave Her Angels" -- for reminding me always of Veronica, the girl who turned the tides, this was the song that I listened to on the plane ride over. "Solo" and "Had U" -- reminiscent of the turmultuous times in 1996, when things were bad. "Until You're In My Arms Again" -- expressing the feelings I had during 1998/99. #1 of those would be "Goodbye" -- it brought forth tears. #2 is "She Gave Her Angels" -- for making me feel so much better about myself.
